We are pleased to present this unique opportunity to join a national top tier law firm, primarily focusing on the insurance sector, based in Liverpool.

The Role

This is a superb opportunity to join an established law firm that offers specialist quality legal advice to both businesses and individuals. Due to the development and expansion of the firm, it is now seeking to appoint a Senior Paralegal who will be accountable for managing a caseload of pre‑litigated Employer Liability/Public Liability, Product Liability & Property damage claims. The ideal candidate will have wide‑ranging experience, including handling a caseload of pre‑litigated cases involving EL / PL claims for corporate clients. You will be handling a range of interesting cases completing initial investigations, taking witness statements, reviewing medical records and advising on liability and quantum.

The Candidate

  • Paralegal / Claims Handler with significant experience of handling EL/PL claims
  • Experience dealing with complex liability and quantum issues
  • Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time‑management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
