A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join our leading law firm located in Brighton and Hove.

Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 depending on experience.

The role will be working within the very busy Dispute Resolution department and will be working closely with an Associate Solicitor conducting Landlord and Tenant Possession matters in addition to some general litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking new enquiries
  • Opening new files
  • Drafting applicable notices to tenants
  • Drafting claim forms and particulars of claims
  • Drafting witness statements
  • Drafting replies to defences and counterclaims
  • Preparing bundles for court
  • Instructing bailiffs
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, court and defendants.

Previous experience of working on property litigation and landlord and tenant matters is essential for this role. We also offer ongoing training to support the right candidate to progress in this area.

You will be joining a very busy team so you will need to be energetic, enthusiastic, work well under pressure and be a good team player. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate commitment and drive whilst delivering high quality service at all times.
