About Housing Disrepair Claims
Housing disrepair claims arise when tenants live in properties that have fallen into a state of disrepair due to the landlord’s failure to carry out necessary repairs. Common issues include damp and mold, structural defects, broken heating systems, leaking roofs, and infestations. Tenants have the right to live in safe and habitable conditions, and when landlords fail to meet these obligations, tenants may be entitled to compensation.
