This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and motivated individual to work in a small but dynamic team. As a Trade Mark Paralegal, you will be instrumental in supporting the firm's trade mark practice.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of cost estimates
  • Assisting with draft specifications
  • Filing trade mark applications
  • Dealing with straightforward examination reports/office actions
  • Liaising with foreign agents in relation to new filings and general prosecution work
  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of oppositions
  • Dealing with recordals, including recordals of assignment/change of name and/or address
  • Invoicing
  • Drafting watch reports
  • Preparing trade mark schedules
  • Assisting with the management of fee earner deadlines
  • Assisting with POAs and Declarations of Use
  • Assisting with collation and preparation of evidence in contentious matters
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of trade mark law and procedures in the UK, EU and at an international level
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a client‑facing role
  • Holder of the CITMA Paralegal Qualification
  • Team‑oriented mindset
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
