Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm

We are looking for an organised, self‑motivated individual to join our successful paralegal law firm. The hours will be 9am‑5pm Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be provided with training where necessary. If you are a motivated and organised individual, skilled on the Windows operating system with top notch customer service skills, this role may be for you. Prior experience in the legal industry is helpful, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Good communication skills, organisational and time‑keeping skills
  • Showing attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Undertaking documentary analysis research
  • Assisting lawyers with preparation of cases for hearing, including bundles for court and attending hearings with counsel to assist and take notes
  • Attending upon new clients and taking instructions
  • Ability to analyse and communicate complex information clearly

Requirements:

  • Office experience in a customer service role or similar
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Initiative
  • Punctual
  • Good IT skills including proficiency in Windows operating system
  • Ability to commute to Crawley, West Sussex RH11 or willingness to relocate before starting work
