We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Paralegals to join our award-winning Human Rights and Public Law team.
We are currently acting for large groups of Core Participants at the Infected Blood Inquiry. As well as acting for individuals and families, we also act for organisational clients, such as Haemophilia Wales and Haemophilia Northern Ireland. We also conduct High Court Judicial Review cases and Education and Discrimination cases in the First-tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs and Disability).
Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with case preparation including legal research, interviewing witnesses, drafting statements, processing evidence, collating documentation, attending on clients, attending conferences and court, drafting and completing Legal Aid applications and assisting with office administration.
Skills and Experience
- Good legal experience, qualifications and completion of BVC/LPC is desirable but not essential for the role.
- The successful candidate will have excellent drafting and document analysis skills, excellent time management skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The successful applicant will be able to work well within a team, and have good administrative and case management skills within an office environment.

Successful candidates will be required to work from our offices in Cardiff and may occasionally be required to travel to attend clients, hearings or meetings.
