We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Dispute Resolution department. The department is ranked by Chambers and Legal 500 as one of the premier litigation departments in Wales and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Litigation and Professional Negligence teams on a varied caseload of general commercial litigation files.
- Deal with telephone enquiries from clients.
- Draft letters before action.
- Assist with complex litigation, including preparation of lists of disclosure.
- Update clients on the progress of their claims.
- Prepare trial bundles.
- Attend court instructing counsel meetings and interlocutory hearings.
- Research points of law.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Law degree or equivalent experience.
- High levels of motivation and organisation.
- Good IT literacy (use of specialist software).
- Enjoyment of teamwork.
