We are recruiting for a Paralegal to join our Real Estate Services team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the foremost Real Estate groups in the region with over 150 staff. You will be part of the financial services segment which is one of seven teams within this group; you will be undertaking a range of duties including title check and reports on title, freehold and leasehold disposals, title due diligence and other transactional support for financing projects.

Your Role

  • High volume work within the Real Estate Services team dealing with residential purchases for Housing Associations, Developers and others.
  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions, disposals and other estate management work for commercial real estate clients e.g. licences to assign, lease renewals.
  • Project work e.g. large-scale due diligence for refinancing, portfolio acquisitions and disposals, lease reports.
  • Provide all our clients with a high-quality service in accordance with the Firm’s procedures.
  • Maintain and improve relations with existing clients and spot opportunities for business development and enhancement of the current services we offer.
  • Achieve the budget and targets set by the Firm.

Your Skills and Experience

  • The role would suit an experienced paralegal, legal assistant or legal executive.
  • Commercial or residential property experience is desirable.
  • Strong file management skills, communication, drafting skills and billing; working with case management systems.
  • Good IT skills, good eye for detail and ability to juggle a busy and varied workload.
  • Excellent communication skills – high volume of interaction via the telephone; high standards of client service essential.
  • Enthusiastic & team approach to working.
  • A desire to learn and develop legal skills in the area of development, housing and commercial property.
