Hayward Hawk is working exclusively with a global business to source an in-house Paralegal to join their growing Belfast office. This role primarily focuses on customer-oriented tasks and legal operations, providing vital support for sales and commercial activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in-house with particular focus collaborating closely with business teams on contract management.

The role:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to identify potential risks, inconsistencies, and deviations from company policies and standards.
  • Address day-to-day requests and inquiries from customers and clients, including responses to informational requests and verifying policies and procedures.
  • Organising and overseeing department legal files and database by compiling response libraries and knowledge databases to enhance team operations and efficiencies.
  • Assisting the legal counsel and legal team on additional projects and tasks.

The candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years of corporate experience.
  • Experience working in-house.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships and handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
  • Experience with international matters or working across multiple jurisdictions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
