Job Role
The successful candidate will draft and take instructions for wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trust documents.
Responsibilities
- Drafting bespoke wills
- Producing Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trust documents
- Submitting LPA applications to the OPG
- Making submissions and inquiries with HMLR
- Undertaking legal research
- Amending client documents as per instructions
- Answering legal and non-legal queries from clients or consultants via telephone and email
Essential/Desired Skills
- A Law Degree/CILEx/LPC or equivalent qualification [desirable]
- A demonstrable working background in the legal sector
- Knowledge of Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Land Law
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A working knowledge of probate [desirable]
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows
- The ability to build and maintain relationships and stay updated with market changes
