We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Litigation Paralegal. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our legal team by producing necessary documentation, conducting legal research, and providing administrative assistance as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Producing legal documentation as required, including drafting basic deeds, documents, and letters.
- Drafting financial statements and engaging in legal research as appropriate.
- Undertaking basic correspondence and telephone calls on client matters.
- Efficiently managing client/matter files, including filing, archiving, retrieval, and updating relevant databases.
- Providing administrative support to the team, including scanning, faxing, printing, document binding/bundling, and photocopying.
- Operating case management systems and storing documents electronically.
- Managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails, and facsimile transmissions.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of all company and client documentation and information.
- Maintaining client relationship management data and records.
- Monitoring compliance and Lexcel requirements.
- Assisting with good financial management as needed.
- Assisting with reception of clients and arrangement of meetings.
- Handling queries and enquiries from fee earners, team coordinators, secretaries, and clients.
- Supporting the wider team and assisting with work as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a legal administrative role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
