The Role
Full time. Based in Sandy, Bedfordshire, with UK and international travel.
You’ll build the simulators Zak O’Sullivan, Nick Tandy, Megan Bruce, and many other drivers train on. Simulators that cost between £10k and £70k. Then you’ll install them and support them. You’ll take the simulators to client events and run them.
What you’ll do
-
Build Pro II and Clubsport simulators in our workshop - taking full ownership from chassis to calibration.
-
Build and configure the highest spec Gaming PCs that run them.
-
Test and configure every simulator you build, before it leaves us.
-
Install simulators in clients’ homes and businesses, and at events, driving the van to get there.
-
Support clients from build through delivery, and across the service life of their simulator.
-
Host simulators at client events in the UK and abroad.
-
Help develop and test new hardware and software.
Where you can take it
We don’t sit still. Bring ideas and you’ll see them built.
-
Testing and manufacturing new simulator components.
-
Support our in-house software development workflow.
-
Have a say in product development.
-
Design new simulator components in SolidWorks.
-
Take a component from CAD to a finished simulator.
What you’re required to bring
-
A real interest in motorsport and racing simulators.
-
A pre-existing background in motorsport and/or sim racing.
-
Mechanical aptitude for precise assembly work. Following instructions and guides.
-
Fluency with Windows 11 and simulator software (Assetto Corsa and iRacing), enough to diagnose a fault and fix it with a client watching.
-
The instinct to find the cause of a problem and long-term solution, not just a workaround.
-
Comfort owning your work in a small team.
-
The ability to work at pace across the workshop, client sites and events.
-
Clear communication with professional drivers, private owners and corporate clients alike.
-
A full UK driving licence.
