Focusing on circular economy best practices is central to the company's vision to create a more sustainable industry. As a fast growth business, focused on delivering high quality service solutions, they are recruiting for a permanent Offshore Business Development Manager to work remotely.
Role Overview
This role is primarily focused on new business development and is suitable for those who are target driven and possess exceptional new business selling skills to be able to continually deliver results. You will also be looked upon to generate self-made opportunities of your own, but you will also have introductions to warm leads through the company as well.
Key Responsibilities
The Offshore BDM is responsible for:
- Growing the revenue and profitability from parts & refurbishment business in the UK offshore wind sector
- Develop & leverage strategic relationships with key stakeholders within large energy operators.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within existing Key accounts.
- Deliver results in line with budget.
- This is as much a technical sales role as it is BDM, so you need to wear both commercial and Engineering hats.
Key Requirements
Essential:
- Previous technical sales experience ideally to off- shore based clients.
- Ability to influence at engineering, procurement and operations level
- Ability to work independently, but part of a remote team
- Self-starter required, ideally with a technical/engineering degree or proven experience
- Driven to exceed performance goals
- Full driving licence – 50% travel within the UK, occasionally northern Europe
