Role Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure maintenance & Support
- Driving the continuous improvement of DevOps best practice
- Contributing to the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) agenda
- Assisting in monitoring and troubleshooting system performance and availability issues
- Assisting in implementing and maintaining security best practices and compliance requirements
- Assisting with writing, reviewing, and updating relevant documentation
- Assisting in upstream and downstream hardware, software and technical operational matters
Person Specification
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including core infrastructure components such as virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and Azure Active Directory
- Understanding of implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools Bicep or Terraform
- Understanding of pipeline development with YAML CI/CD, Azure DevOps or GitHub actions
- Exposure to containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Basic scripting, PowerShell or Python
- Highly desirable to either hold or be working towards AZ900 or AZ104 (although support and training can be given)
