Job Description C Developer 12 months+ Contract – PAYE Glasgow – Hybrid (circa 3 days a week in the office) FPSG’s client is a Global Finance Organisation, who have a bespoke team with responsibility for the development and maintenance of the engineering environment for a business-critical suite of applications. This squad are subject matter experts in C++ and build, tailor, maintain and enhance complex C++ code, C++ plug-ins and relevant C++ libraries and C++ tooling. To be successful you will have: Advanced subject matter level skills in C++ Extensive knowledge of C++ Plug-ins and associated Libraries Strong Python Must have strong technical skills in delivering complex enterprise level systems Should possess excellent object-oriented design skills, OOA/OOD Comfortable with Linux and associated Scripting Comfortable in Windows and associated Scripting Comfortable with containerisation with skills in Docker, Kubernetes etc Desirable to have knowledge or exposure to kdb+/q (training can be provided) Hybrid working practice Typically up to 3 days a week on-site in the Glasgow City Centre office (for collaboration, cross-training) As a result a commutable distance from Glasgow is required Reward In return our client offers…
