Stock Controller in Milton Keynes

Overview

Full Time – An exciting position has arisen for a Stock Controller to join our busy team based at the Milton Keynes Head Office. Working closely with the Product managers, the Stock Controller is responsible for the day-to-day stock replenishment for all branches under their control, liaising with suppliers and branch managers regarding supply issues and order solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a daily relationship with all branches to avoid potential stock issues.
• Resolve problems quickly and efficiently when needed.
• Manage due date stock control to prevent duplication with 2nd line supply.
• Report daily to the Purchase Manager if branch levels need adjusting, any movement with pricing, quantity break price analysis and G-net issues if needed.
• Review the Purchase Order status at the branches under your control.
• Handle a high volume of email orders in a timely manner.
• Liaise with Branch Managers and Suppliers.
• Check purchase order status.
• Run unapproved stock requirements.
• Manage orders to avoid increasing individual carriage charges.

Essential Requirements

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience in the Automotive sector is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
