Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to the independent automotive aftermarket in Europe. It operates in France, the U.K., Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary and Romania. AAG’s network serves thousands of customers across Europe supported by a logistics infrastructure of 75 Distribution Centres, approximately 2,550 Stores and thousands of vehicle repairers, body shops and auto-centres.

Due to strong performance in recent years and high growth expected for the year ahead and beyond, we are looking for a Returns & Warehouse Operative to join our team in Marsh Barton, Exeter. This role is for Parts In Motion, a proud member of the Alliance Automotive Group. This is a warehouse role, so please ensure that you can reliably commute to: Unit 3 Filmer Way, Marsh Barton, Exeter EX2 8YX. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You must be dynamic, hardworking and naturally self‑motivated with great attention to detail, even when working at a fast pace. You must be computer literate and confident with learning and using different computer systems. At Parts in Motion, teamwork is crucial and so being an honest, upfront and flexible team player is vitally important to ensure efficiency day to day. We are looking for a confident individual who can think on their feet but also not afraid to ask questions and get involved in team discussions. The successful candidate will have ideally worked in a warehouse environment previously, although this is not crucial if the above characteristics are met.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Processing customer returns
  • Supporting with our warehouse goods out processes
  • Working within our systems to ensure return cases are dealt with within 48 hours of the return being received
  • Reporting return issues within our systems and contacting customers where necessary if there is an issue with the returned item
  • Assisting with the warranty process (including booking, reviewing and chasing warranties)
  • Providing support to the Customer Service team with customer aftercare services when required
  • Maintaining close successful working relationships with distribution partners
  • General warehouse duties (making sure everything is neat and tidy to ensure efficiency within the warehouse)
  • Adhering to health & safety measures within the warehouse
  • Working with suppliers and couriers for both orders placed and items that have been returned
