We are looking for a Design Engineer to work for a fantastic client based in Waterlooville (easily commutable from Portsmouth, Fareham, and Southampton) which specializes in sheet metal fabrication. This role would see you taking new products through to completion from conception, which would be put to use in the sheet metal industry. Using your skills and knowledge, you would be creating prototypes using SolidWorks and your previous knowledge of hands-on engineering processes. Although hands-on engineering experience is needed, no qualifications are required.
This is a long-term, ongoing role, meaning you would begin as a PAYE agency worker with the potential to move to permanent. This means there is real scope for progression, with great benefits and an enviable pension. The pay will vary based on skill set, experience, and knowledge; this is a great opportunity to upskill in design tasks and SolidWorks. This role is on the Day shift and pays up to £17.50 per hour.
