We are working with a property maintenance contractor who is looking to hire a Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover sites across Central London. The work is mainly residential with some retail. This is a mobile, reactive role. It will suit someone used to travelling between jobs, fault finding, testing, and dealing with call-outs rather than working on one site. The position includes being on the on-call rota, 1 week in 3.

The role:

  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Inspection & testing including EICRs and remedials
  • Small works and replacements
  • Emergency lighting and general electrical repairs
  • Travelling across Central London daily
  • On-call rota 1 week in 3

Requirements:

  • 18th Edition
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
  • Recognised electrical qualification
  • Experience in residential / maintenance / multi-site work
  • Must have worked in a mobile role before
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be comfortable working across Central London
  • Candidates must be used to call-outs, travelling between jobs, and working independently. This is not suitable for someone who has only worked on a single site or only done installation work.
