About our client
Our client is a property maintenance business operating across London and the South East. They deliver planned and reactive maintenance services on behalf of managing agents and freeholders.
The role
They're looking for an accounts assistant to join their finance team, taking on day-to-day accounts payable and receivable processing. You'll be based full time at their Essex office.
What you'll be doing
- Processing supplier invoices and receipts accurately and on time
- Updating and maintaining financial spreadsheets
- Entering and reconciling transactions in Xero
- Matching items between the company's CRM system and Xero
- Supporting wider accounts payable and receivable processing across the business
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment queries
Skills and experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant, accounts payable or accounts receivable role
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Good attention to detail and comfortable processing a steady volume of transactions
Desirable
- Experience using Xero (full training given if you haven't used it before)
