About the Role

We are looking for a professional, friendly and proactive Concierge to join the team at a prestigious residential development in North London.

As the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming, safe and well-maintained environment for everyone living and working on the development.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Concierge who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and enjoys building strong relationships with residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resident & Front-of-House Services
  • Provide a professional, warm and welcoming front-of-house service.
  • Respond to resident enquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with residents.
  • Assist new residents with their move-in and settling-in process.
  • Security & Safety
  • Monitor CCTV and access control systems.
  • Manage authorised access to the development.
  • Carry out regular patrols of communal areas, car parks, plant rooms and grounds.
  • Report and record any security or safety concerns.
  • Assist with emergency situations when required.
  • Parcel & Key Management
  • Receive and securely store resident parcels.
  • Maintain accurate parcel and key logs.
  • Manage the secure collection and handover of parcels and keys.
  • Estate Inspections
  • Carry out regular inspections of communal and external areas, including: Entrances and communal areas
  • Lifts, stairwells and corridors
  • Car parks and refuse areas
  • External grounds
  • Plant rooms and service cupboards
  • Lighting and fire exits

Any faults, damage, leaks, alarms or maintenance issues should be reported promptly.

  • Contractor Management
  • Provide access to authorised contractors.
  • Verify contractor identification and access requirements.
  • Monitor works taking place across the development.
  • Report any damage, issues or concerns to the Property Manager.
  • Administration
  • Maintain an accurate site diary.
  • Record inspections, incidents and contractor visits.
  • Report maintenance issues and follow up where required.
  • Assist with resident and site communications.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Concierge or similar customer-facing role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A professional, approachable and well-presented manner.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good IT skills and attention to detail.
  • A reliable and proactive approach to their work.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for providing excellent service to residents.
  • Working Relationships

You will work closely with the Property Manager, residents, leaseholders, tenants, commercial occupiers, contractors, maintenance teams and emergency services.

A Typical Day

Your day will include morning estate inspections, CCTV and access monitoring, resident enquiries, parcel management, contractor access and regular patrols of the development.

You will also be responsible for afternoon inspections, updating site records, reporting maintenance or security issues and ensuring a thorough handover at the end of the day.
