We are currently hiring for a Day Concierge to work on a luxury residential block based in South East London. We are looking for a professional candidate with previous front of house experience, who can provide a warm welcoming service to the residents on site.
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 4 days on, 4 days off - 12 hour shifts (7am - 7pm)
Main Duties:
- During working hours, you will be based at the concierge desk except when carrying out any required Building Patrols.
- Receive and provide accurate shift handover.
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere throughout the Building.
- Be always present at the Concierge Desk and ensure that all persons in the building have a right to be present.
- Announce any visitors, contractors, or deliveries (where applicable) and monitor their presence on site.
- Receive, log, store safely and distribute all parcels. In line with GDPR do not leave them on show to protect the Residents' identity.
- Answer all enquiries via email, telephone and in person in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor visually and by using CCTV, access control and any other issues of concern, to ensure these are being actioned and escape appropriately.
- Monitor, log and escape any faults/alarms or issues with the Life Safety systems.
- Ensure that all the key movements are being recorded, issued and details captured correctly and action on any missing keys.
- Address any security breaches/issues and call the local authorities if necessary.
- At all times you are to ensure the security of the building and its residents is not jeopardised in any way.
- You are to always assist residents together with their guests and visitors when and where required.
- To carry out any other reasonable additional duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Experience in Residential or 4-5* Hotels.
- Reliable and timekeeping.
- Immaculate presentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Experience in the highest level of customer service.
- Be able to demonstrate initiative.
The successful candidate must be able to provide excellent references and be willing to undergo full vetting checks.
