FPL Signs is a well-established signage and large format print provider with over 30 years of experience in the industry. From eye-catching vehicle wraps to complete building signage rebrands, we offer innovative, bespoke solutions to clients across the UK and beyond. Based in Farnborough, we specialise in both interior and exterior signage, vehicle graphics, fleet branding, POS materials and custom large-format printing. With full project management and a commitment to quality, we help businesses stand out from the crowd.

We are looking for a talented and detail-focused Graphic Designer / Estimator to join our growing team in Farnborough. This is a dual-role position, responsible for both producing high-quality graphic designs for a wide range of signage projects and preparing accurate quotes and estimates. You will play a key role in bringing creative ideas to life, working closely with the sales and production teams, while also supporting the commercial side of the business through precise costings and project assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create eye-catching and effective designs for interior and exterior signage, vehicle graphics, and promotional displays
  • Prepare technical designs and print-ready artwork for production
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand client needs and deliver creative solutions
  • Accurately estimate costs, materials, and production time for signage and print jobs
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to gather up-to-date pricing
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
  • Maintain organised records of design files and estimate documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in graphic design and layout, particularly for signage, print, and vehicle graphics
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or CorelDRAW
  • Sound understanding of typography, layout, and branding principles
  • Experience with job management systems such as Clarity
  • Experience in signage estimating and quoting – ideally in a print or signage environment
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to produce consistent, accurate work
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • A relevant degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred
