We are looking for an enthusiastic Principal or Associate Landscape Architect to join our expanding team in Sheffield. We are seeking talented individuals to help support the continued growth of the practice, working on a wide variety of projects involving strategic and detailed landscape design and implementation, masterplanning, landscape and visual impact assessment and public realm design across the UK.
You will be part of a forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary team of Landscape Architects, working closely with our Architects, Ecologists, and Arboriculturists. Our collaborative and joined-up approach consistently delivers design and environmental excellence for clients across many sectors. The Sheffield office opened in 2022 with a growing team of Landscape Architects and Ecologists. This is an exciting time to join the friendly and supportive Sheffield landscape team with opportunities to manage and mentor junior members and help with continued growth throughout Yorkshire and the north.
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate the following capabilities and experience:
- A relevant postgraduate qualification, with 8 or more years professional experience.
- Be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
- Experience in LVIA and Landscape Planning.
- Experience of concept design, detailed landscape design and masterplanning would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Highly skilled in 2D CAD software, including Vectorworks or a strong willingness to learn.
- Demonstrate the ability to think creatively to innovate and problem-solve collaboratively.
- A strong communicator with excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and manage more junior staff, where they are supporting you to produce work.
- Ability to manage projects, prioritise and work on multiple projects and tasks effectively.
- UK driving licence with access to (or willingness to obtain) a private car for site visits.
SALARY: The salary range is £40k to £55k. Salary offered will be based on experience. Bonuses are paid in addition to this.
