We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Landscape Architect/ Landscape Planner to join our expanding team in Lockington (M1, J24 near East Midlands Airport). We are keen to hear from talented individuals who are keen to develop their career and help support the continued growth of the practice. The successful candidate would contribute to the delivery of projects across a wide variety of sectors and throughout the UK.
We are looking for someone with a specialism in Landscape Planning, or with varied experience and keen to specialise in LVIA, TVIA, Green Belt Assessment, Landscape Strategies and suchlike. You will be part of a long-established, forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary team of Landscape Architects, working closely with our Architects, Ecologists, and Arboriculturists. Our collaborative and joined-up approach consistently delivers design and environmental excellence for clients across many sectors. Qualifications & Experience- A relevant postgraduate qualification, with 8 or more years professional experience.
- Be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
- Experience in LVIA and Landscape Planning.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and GIS.
- Experience of landscape planning, particularly leading on landscape/townscape and visual impact assessments.
- Desirable experience – direct involvement with infrastructure projects, including NSIPs.
- Project management/leadership experience including preparation of bids, management of project finance and client relationships.
- A strong communicator with excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and manage more junior staff, where they are supporting you to produce work.
- Ability to efficiently manage projects, prioritise and work on multiple projects and tasks effectively.
- UK driving licence with access to (or willingness to obtain) a private car for site visits.
The salary range is £45k to £55k. Salary offered will be based on experience. Bonuses are paid in addition to this. If the specific role doesn’t quite suit then get in touch, as we are happy to be flexible.
