We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Marketing Executive who has some experience in marketing in the built environment sector, but who may be looking for the next opportunity to develop their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies. They will be required to manage our brand, champion our brand voice and identity and oversee brand representation across all channels. The role is based at our head office at Lockington Hall (near Derby and Nottingham), and the successful applicant would join our growing Business Support Team.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Development of a marketing strategy
- Development of website and social media content
- Production of promotional material for bids, tenders and such like
- Promotion of our brand
- Communication of company announcements, both internally and externally
- Coordination of team attendance at events and conferences
- Coordination of award entries
What we’re looking for:
- Experience across all areas of communications and marketing, with a particular interest in digital media, design and social media management.
- Experience of delivering effective B2B digital marketing campaigns.
- Previous experience working in the UK built environment sector.
- Knowledge of the full range of digital media platforms and opportunities with the ability to keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies.
- Ability to work on own initiative, suggest new ideas and ways of doing things.
- The ability to think creatively and contribute ideas.
- The ability to take and develop briefs from colleagues in different departments, ensuring a good understanding of what they are trying to achieve and advising on the most effective tactics, channels and messaging to deploy.
- Experience of liaising and collaborating with external suppliers including design agencies and printers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to create high quality and engaging video and social media assets.
- The ability to generate strong written and graphical content.
- Good organisational skills, with ability to manage concurrent projects effectively to ensure deadlines are met and progress is made.
- Strong IT skills, with experience of using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and WordPress CMS would also be beneficial.
- The ability to relate to people at all levels and work effectively as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
Hours: Hours are flexible – the position would ideally be 28 hours per week, however we would consider 21 - 35 hours per week.
Salary: The salary range is £25,000 - £32,000 (based on full-time hours). Actual salary offered will be based on experience. Bonuses are paid in addition to this.
