We are looking for experienced procurement professionals to join our growing team and support our clients to navigate the unprecedented global uncertainty, volatility and risk within supply chains.
The opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of different client projects, working across industry sectors and the full procurement lifecycle, including:
- Delivering high-value complex strategic sourcing projects, supporting clients to identify and onboard suppliers to deliver some of their largest and most critical projects.
- Engaging with business stakeholders and suppliers to shape category strategies that best meet the organisations needs and takes advantage of market and industry best practice.
- Conducting assessments on 3rd party spend using analytics tools, identifying opportunities to reduce cost. Working with clients to implement projects and improve ways of working so that they are better able to manage spend.
- Supporting clients to navigate supplier performance issues that are impacting on business outcomes, working with them to implement leading practice contract and supplier management capabilities.
- Working with clients to review the current procurement operating model and identify and implementing improvements.
- Providing formal and informal procurement training to client teams so they have the technical and soft skills to deliver the best procurement outcomes.
- Supporting clients to implement leading procurement technology practices, including Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence.
You will work in cross-functional teams across our Consulting, People and Technology practices. The projects you deliver will build your leadership, management experience and your technical commercial & procurement capabilities. You will work closely with and support senior client stakeholders. You will also have exposure to leading procurement technology; including Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Data Analytics.

As a Manager, you’ll balance internal and external responsibilities, comprising client, business development support, operational, team and personal development.
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationships and be a trusted advisor to clients, working with procurement and wider business stakeholders.
- Be adept at problem-solving with clients and project teams, leveraging your skills to help manage projects to completion.
- Develop experience and relationships across several clients over time, often as part of a team from different parts of EY’s world, whilst being able to maintain focus on current project delivery.

- Support successful delivery of projects and workstreams as forecast to time and budget.
- Help ensure the quality of our delivery exceeds client expectations by effectively managing activities and deliverables within your remit.

Your experience
Typically, Managers bring practical experience from either a consulting or industry background where you have developed your technical and managerial expertise. Whilst consulting experience is not essential, you will have experience leading projects and delivering business change for your organisation. As a minimum you should have:
- A minimum of five years procurement experience.
- Track record of managing projects and internal initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with evidence of being able to draw out insights from a range of different data sources.
- Ability to successfully work with and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels of organisation.
- Experience managing diverse teams of people, including mentoring and coaching.
- Ability to produce clear and concise reports that effectively communicate complex findings and recommendations.

Qualifications
