An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Marketing & Growth Manager to join a fast-growing technology and logistics business disrupting a traditional sector. Reporting directly to the three founders, this is a highly visible role that combines marketing, content creation, storytelling, PR, customer engagement and growth strategy.
This position is ideal for an ambitious marketer who thrives in a start-up environment, enjoys building brands from the ground up and is equally comfortable developing strategy as they are creating content and analysing performance. We're looking for someone entrepreneurial, driven and self‑motivated‑someone who has helped grow a business, product or marketplace from scratch and is excited by the challenge of building and scaling something meaningful.
The Role- Develop and implement the company's marketing, content and growth strategy across multiple audiences including investors, merchants, tradespeople, drivers and employees.
- Own growth across both sides of the marketplace – merchants/trades and drivers – from day one, with the opportunity to help shape and scale dedicated demand and supply functions as the business grows.
- Create engaging content through filming, interviews, storytelling, social media, email marketing and brand campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and customer acquisition.
- Drive PR initiatives and build the personal brands of the founders, positioning them as recognised industry leaders within their sector.
- Use data, insights and analytics to measure performance, optimise campaigns, improve customer retention and act as a key liaison between customers and internal development teams.
- Salary up to £60,000.
- Direct exposure to the founders and the opportunity to influence business growth.
- Fast‑paced, entrepreneurial start‑up culture with genuine autonomy.
- Opportunity to build and shape a high‑growth brand from an early stage.
- Career progression as the business continues to scale.
- Proven marketing experience with a track record of delivering measurable growth and demand generation.
- Strong content creation, storytelling and PR skills, including experience filming and producing engaging digital content.
- Data‑driven and analytical, with the ability to make commercial decisions based on performance metrics.
- Experience within Builders Merchants, Construction, Logistics, Last‑Mile Delivery, Multi‑Sided Marketplaces, Platform Businesses or another relevant high‑growth sector would be highly advantageous.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in a start‑up, scale‑up or high‑growth environment, ideally from businesses such as Bolt, Amazon, Deliveroo or similar.
- Self‑motivated, highly organised and capable of managing marketing budgets effectively. Most importantly, you'll be someone who is resourceful, driven and excited by the challenge of figuring things out and building growth from the ground up.
