We are seeking a warm, motivated Creche Assistant to help deliver high quality childcare within our Sweet Peas Creche at POD15. You'll support children and families, contribute to engaging play sessions, and help ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all users of the Centre. This is a Maternity Cover position with potential to full time hours depending on funding and projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with outings, family sessions, and parenting support.
- Deliver fun, creative play sessions.
- Support children's individual needs.
- Maintain basic records and follow all safeguarding policies.
- Keep creche areas safe, tidy, and well organised.
Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of vulnerable families.
- Minimum 1 year childcare and creche experience.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Must complete an Enhanced Access NI check.
- Safeguarding, Child Protection, First Aid training.
- 2 years childcare experience.
