We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting children and families in a nurturing environment. This is a bank staff position, with 4 hour shifts from 9am to 1pm, offered on an as and when required basis. You should have experience working in childcare or early years settings and be flexible to work as needed. Knowledge of Health and Safety in childcare environments and a commitment to confidentiality and equality are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality care and support for children attending Centre based activities.
- Help run the Creche facilities in a safe, child focused environment.
- Create fun, educational play sessions using creativity and imagination.
- Participate in outings, events, and parenting sessions.
- Assist with preparing play areas, supervising activities, and maintaining equipment.
- Maintain records and uphold safeguarding and Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Support mothers and build positive relationships with families.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or early years setting.
- Commitment to confidentiality, equality, and safeguarding.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in childcare environments.
- Must complete an Access NI check and Fit Persons assessment.
- Warm, approachable, and professional manner.
