INFORMATION

Foyle Melton Mowbray a modern beef slaughter hall facility is looking for general operatives to work in our plant at Sixhills near Melton Mowbray. We are seeking both trainee and skilled butchers to fulfil roles at the site – full training and development will be available to maximise your potential. This is an exciting opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to develop a career in one of the UK’s largest meat processing companies.

Main duties of the role will be:

• Slaughter Hall operations
• Butchery operations
• Loading Bay operations
• Manual labouring operations

You will need:

• Have a willingness to learn and develop yourself
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Provide regular and reliable service
• Focused and driven
• Ability to work under pressure

We work a variable 40 hour week Monday to Friday starting between 0700 & 0800 to finish. The rate paid for this position is currently between £12.71 > £14.00 + with the attainment of skills.
