The Foyle Food Group are looking for an IT Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer. Responsible for the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the organisations IT infrastructure and its associated security controls. The role combines hands-on infrastructure engineering with embedded security responsibilities, ensuring that systems are available, resilient, secure, and compliant with organisational policies and recognised standards (including ISO 27001 and GDPR-aligned controls). The role is operational and technical, supporting day-to-day infrastructure and security requirements while contributing to projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Duties will evolve in line with business and technology changes.

Essential
- 5 years experience in an IT Infrastructure or Security Engineering role
- Third level Education
- Flexible working essential to be able to deal with issues outside standard business hours / weekends etc.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, switching, routing)
- Experience supporting security controls and endpoint protection
- Strong troubleshooting and incident-handling skills
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security features
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or security audit processes
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Security, ITIL)
