We are excited to have partnered with a nationwide leading fabricator and installer of Architectural Aluminium Systems, Curtain Walling, Windows and Cladding. Based in South Wales, our Client offers a broad spectrum of Aluminium systems to customers across the UK, that are bespoke and tailored to each client’s individual remit. Due to continued growth and success, they are looking for a qualified and experienced Design CAD Draughtsman to join their technical team. Reporting directly into the Technical Director, you will be an integral part of the design and technical team, and will work closely with Architects, Clients and suppliers. Ideally, you will have previous experience in the aluminium commercial curtain walling, windows and door industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of tender
- Conceptual elevation
- General arrangement
- Detail
- Setting out and workshop drawings/schedules
- Administration, liaison and clerical duties associated with the projects by the drawing/design office
- Attend design meetings with Architects, Clients and Suppliers
- Undertake site surveys
What you need to apply:
