About The Role

One of the most valuable services provided by Foxtons’ Property Management and Lettings Support department is the effective collection of rent. This function plays a critical role in safeguarding our landlords’ income, requiring a proactive and professional approach to managing arrears and resolving challenging situations. As an Entry Level Credit Control, you will play a key role in maintaining the strong relationships Foxtons builds with its landlord clients. By ensuring timely rent collection and managing arrears cases with care and diligence, you will provide reassurance that their financial interests are protected. You will develop the expertise to handle sensitive scenarios with confidence, delivering a high standard of service when it matters most. Our industry‑leading training and ongoing development will equip you with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to navigate the legal and procedural complexities of rent arrears. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact tenants at regular, defined intervals via telephone, email, and SMS to address overdue rent, identify issues, and secure payment.
  • Ensure all contact schedules and procedures are adhered to, supporting the success of any potential legal proceedings.
  • Attend court proceedings where required, providing accurate and professional evidence in rent arrears cases.
  • Liaise with landlords, keeping them fully informed on arrears cases through to resolution.
  • Provide clear, accurate guidance to landlords on processes, timelines, and available options.

Location & Working Arrangement

This role is based at our Worcester office (WR4), located on the outskirts of the city with excellent transport links. Free onsite parking is provided. Following the initial induction period, the role offers a hybrid working pattern, including one day per week working from home.
