Through data, technology and analytics we support better decision‑making across the business and help teams operate more effectively. The Business Analytics team plays a key role in this, delivering reporting, insights and analytical tools that support commercial performance, customer experience and operational efficiency.
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst – an entry‑level role suitable for a graduate or early‑career analyst with some hands‑on Power BI experience from work, internship, placement, personal project or an online course. The role will be predominantly focused on Power BI development, maintaining and improving existing reporting, owning report changes and helping users across the business understand and act on the data. There will also be opportunities to use SQL and Python where applicable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the delivery, maintenance and improvement of reporting across the business.
- Power BI dashboard development – building, maintaining and improving Power BI reports and dashboards used by teams across the business.
- Owning reporting changes – managing updates to existing reports, gathering requirements, making changes, testing outputs and documenting clearly.
- Presenting reports to users – supporting stakeholders in understanding reports, explaining key metrics and presenting data in a clear, practical way.
- Improving reporting quality – helping ensure reports are accurate, user‑friendly, visually clear and aligned with business needs.
- Working with SQL – using SQL to query, extract and check data from our databases, with support from more experienced members of the team.
- Using Python where applicable – applying Python for analysis, automation or data preparation where it adds value.
- Collaborating with the wider team – working with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, define KPIs and improve how data is used across the business.
- Supporting data quality and governance – helping identify issues, validate outputs and maintain confidence in the data used for reporting.
About You
This is an entry‑level role, so we do not expect you to know everything. We are looking for someone with strong potential, curiosity and a genuine interest in data and reporting. To succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Hands‑on Power BI experience, including building dashboards and using basic DAX.
- Strong analytical or numerate background (degree or equivalent practical experience).
- Working knowledge of SQL (joins, filtering and aggregations).
- Evidence of applying these skills in practice (portfolio, projects, internships or work experience).
- Exposure to Python is beneficial but not required.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from home for part of the week. However, in‑office time is valuable for training, collaboration and developing a strong understanding of how the business uses data.
Why Join Us?
- Competitive Salary – £35,000 depending on experience.
- Hybrid Working – flexibility to work from home part of the week, with regular office collaboration.
- Holidays & Time Off – 25 days annual leave, plus one fully paid day each year to volunteer for a charity of your choice.
- Career Growth – access to mentorship, training and opportunities to develop your skills in Power BI, SQL, Python and business analytics.
- Impactful Work – your reporting will help shape decisions across one of London’s most recognised property brands.
- Innovative Culture – be part of a forward‑thinking analytics team using modern tools and technologies.
- Modern Data Platform – work with an Azure‑based data architecture, cloud technologies and scalable reporting solutions.
- Diversity & Inclusion – be part of employee‑led D&I networks and initiatives that support an inclusive workplace.
- Wellbeing Package – enhanced sick pay, a confidential counselling helpline, access to Mental Health First Aiders and a subsidised gym membership.
- Parental Benefits – enhanced parental leave policies, including generous shared parental leave.
