About The Role
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role within Procurement, offering exposure across the function. You should thrive in such environments, showing curiosity, positive energy, and enthusiasm. You will support the FBC UK Procurement Team, gaining hands-on experience in purchasing goods, materials, and services, ensuring operational needs and supply continuity are met while considering price, quality, and delivery. You will also contribute to continuous improvement projects. This is a full-time, 1-year FTC, hybrid role based in St Albans.
As a graduate, you will gain practical experience across departments, mentorship, and involvement in exciting projects. Supported by our Learning Team, Line Managers, and a cohort of peers, you will develop valuable skills in a company with a rich heritage and passion for biscuits. Main Responsibilities
You will assist in planning and executing category and financial strategies, ensuring alignment with budgets and procurement objectives. Your responsibilities include supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, ensuring competitive supplier selection, applying vendor management practices, and supporting purchasing policies aligned with technical and financial standards. You will monitor transactional activities and KPIs, analyze supplier offers, maintain supplier relationships, and support contract standards and continuous improvement projects.
