Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Mobile Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. If you take pride in your workmanship, enjoy solving problems and want to work for a company that genuinely values its engineers, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

This is a varied mobile role where no two days are the same. You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout London and the South East, ensuring our clients receive an exceptional level of service. You'll work independently while being fully supported by our experienced Helpdesk and Operations Team using The BigChange job management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive and planned fabric maintenance works
  • Carpentry repairs including doors, locks, frames and ironmongery
  • Basic plumbing repairs including taps, toilets, wastes and pipework
  • Ceiling repairs and replacement ceiling tiles
  • Internal and external decorating
  • Flooring repairs including vinyl, carpet tiles and laminate
  • Patch plastering and making good
  • Minor roofing and gutter repairs
  • Window and door adjustments
  • General building fabric repairs
  • Emergency call-outs where required
  • Complete electronic job sheets, photographs and reports using The BigChange system
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients and the Helpdesk throughout the working day
  • Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation
  • Represent Foxleys professionally on every site

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. You'll be reliable, organised and capable of managing your own workload while maintaining high standards.

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within commercial building maintenance
  • Strong multi-trade background
  • Excellent carpentry skills
  • Competent in basic plumbing
  • Good decorating and making-good skills
  • Excellent fault-finding ability
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Experience within commercial facilities maintenance
  • PASMA
  • IPAF
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Manual Handling
