Our client in London is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join their growing team on a contract basis for 6 months.
Outside IR35
Fully Remote (available in UK Only)
Rate: £550-650 per day.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Alongside the Engineering Director and Lead Engineers, the contractor will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining the core backend systems that drive our client’s innovative solutions.
Technologies Required.
- Containerized backend services built with Django/Python and Django REST Framework.
- AWS services (using Terraform for infrastructure as code).
- Serverless framework for a pub/sub processing engine used for asynchronous tasks.
Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of commercial experience with Django.
- Over 4 years of experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and best practices.
- Outstanding debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working in B2B SaaS markets.
- Passionate about technology and eager to contribute to meaningful projects in a dynamic environment
Location
This is a remote position for candidates based in the UK ONLY. Monthly travel to the London Office required – Travel expenses covered.
