Foxley Talent has partnered with a well funded, early stage start-up in the SAAS space that are hiring a Lead Backend Developer with strong experience and a deep understanding of Python and Django.
Joining at this crucial stage, the successful Lead Backend Developer will need to be passionate about building products and the infrastructure for production deployment. Being one of the first Software Engineers in the team, you’ll lead the design, development, and operations behind the products.
As an experienced Python Software Engineer, you should be comfortable writing back end code with Django and designing and implementing REST APIs with a strong focus on scalability and performance.
Required Experience;
- 5+ years of experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
- Experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based architectures
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and containerisation
- Experience in scaling platforms, including optimising software for high-availability and performance.
- Expert knowledge of AWS cloud services
The salary on offer for this position is £85,000 to £100,000, plus benefits.
This is a remote role with very occasional visits to their London office.
