Foxhills Collection is seeking a skilled and motivated Head Gardener to lead our gardening team and oversee the management of our picturesque grounds.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the gardening team in the maintenance and enhancement of the grounds, including planting, pruning, weeding, and watering.
- Implement seasonal lawn care plans.
- Perform monthly woodland checks and any reactive works needed.
- Develop and implement garden design plans, ensuring that they are aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, and reflective of the property's overall vision.
- Monitor plant health and implement pest and disease control measures as needed.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of gardening equipment, ensuring that it is properly maintained and used safely.
- Manage the gardening budget, including purchasing plants, tools, and supplies, and ensuring that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the grounds are maintained to the highest standards and meet the needs of guests and visitors.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to members.
- Take a proactive approach whilst reacting to department and member needs.
- Ensure all health and safety requirements for the department are met.
Requirements
- Minimum RHS level two in Amenity Horticulture.
- Extensive experience in gardening or horticulture, with a proven track record of success in managing large-scale gardening projects.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- In-depth knowledge of plants, shrubs, and trees, and their care and maintenance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in horticulture or landscaping preferred.
