Responsibilities
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations for both properties (Foxhills Club & Resort and Farleigh Golf Club)
- Prepare month-end journals for both sites
- Run the payroll process for both sites in conjunction with the Human Resources team, Finance Manager, and Finance Director
- Review supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and budget compliance, and produce variance reports
- Assist with supplier account reconciliations to support the Purchase Ledger Clerk in resolving issues
- Become familiar with company operating systems and databases
- Assist the Assistant Accountant and Purchase Ledger Clerk as required and participate in their development
- Work with the Finance Manager to develop analytical reporting from databases to complement working processes
Requirements
- Part-qualified / Fully qualified: CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or QBE
- Previous experience in month-end processing and preferably producing management accounts
- Experience in payroll is advantageous
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
- Ability to travel to the office every day, including visits to Farleigh Golf Club, Croydon Surrey, CR6 9PE, as required
