Tired of the Monday-to-Friday grind and the weekend rush of everyone trying to cram life into two days? What if your weekends were your working days — and you had Tuesday and Wednesday to yourself instead? This role runs Thursday to Monday, which means quieter weekday mornings, appointments you can actually get, and time off when everywhere isn't heaving. If that pattern suits how you want to live, this is a brilliant fit — and the earning potential makes it well worth it.
You'll be joining a well-established new homes builder in North Cumbria, as the face of the brand on site and the link between the business and its buyers. You'll guide people through one of the biggest purchases of their lives, from first enquiry all the way to moving-in day. And the money is genuinely good. A solid basic of up to £32,000, plus a realistic OTE of £50,000–£60,000 — not a pie-in-the-sky figure, but real, achievable earnings through commission and bonuses. For the right person, this is a role where you can comfortably double your basic.
The Role
- You'll own the customer journey from start to finish and make sure every buyer feels looked after at each step.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first enquiry through to completion.
- Manage the full sales process, including reservations, exchanges and handovers.
- Work confidently across single- and double-manned sites.
- Provide occasional cover in Workington when needed, with training and meetings in Lancaster (roughly once a month).
You'll Flourish if You Have
- Previous new homes sales experience (or other previous sales or customer service experience).
- The confidence to work both on your own and as part of a team.
- A genuine problem-solving streak — you'll go the extra mile to find the right answer.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Natural warmth and real empathy for the people you're helping.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- £28,000–£32,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
- Realistic OTE of £50,000–£60,000 through commission and bonuses.
- Two weekdays off together every week — a pattern that genuinely suits a lot of people.
- 24 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Company pension.
- Genuine career growth with an established, respected builder.
New to sales? If this sounds like exactly the kind of role you'd love but you've got little or no sales experience behind you, don't rule yourself out. We also have a Trainee Sales Advisor opportunity with full, structured training — so if you're great with people and ready to learn, get in touch and we'll have a chat about that route. OTE for trainee is up to £40k so for career changers, college leavers or uni graduates looking for a new career direction this one could be for you!
