Field Service Electrical Engineer

Fox ESS is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar inverters and battery storage systems across various sites in the UK. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.Tasks Key Responsibilities:Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Perform routine maintenance and inspections on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.Diagnose and repair faults in solar inverters and battery storage systems promptly and efficiently.Customer Support:Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of solar inverters and battery systems.Act as a point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Compliance and Safety:Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring safe working practices.Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with industry standards and company policies.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs.Prepare detailed reports on system performance, faults, and any corrective actions taken.Requirements Qualifications and Experience:Essential:18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, preferably in the renewable energy sector.Full UK driving license.Desirable:Experience with solar inverters and battery storage systems.Additional qualifications in renewable energy systems or related fields.Skills and Attributes:Strong technical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel extensively and work at various sites across the UK.A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Company vehicle and fuel card.Comprehensive training and development opportunities.Pension scheme.25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.About Fox ESS.:Fox ESS is a leading manufacturer of high-quality solar inverters and battery storage systems, dedicated to providing innovative renewable energy solutions to our customers.
