About you: Do you want to make a positive difference to people's lives? Relevant experience is desirable but not essential and applications are welcomed from individuals with transferable skills. Ability to work flexibly. Team player, motivated, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential. Good standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills. Good basic IT skills. Hold a level 3 qualification in social care.

Job Role: Implementing systems for quality assurance to ensure CQC, Outlook Care Policies and procedures and other regulatory compliance is met. Demonstrating positive role modelling to a specified team, ensuring Outlook Care's values are embedded within service delivery, increasing choice and control for service users. Supervising, coaching and managing the performance of specified staff to ensure a safe and effective person-centred service is delivered within a well-maintained and homely environment that is safe for residents to enjoy. Developing good relationships with families and key stakeholders to ensure the continued development of the service. Ensuring safeguarding is given the utmost priority and operational policies are understood and followed, service user safety is assured. Contributing to the development of the service to ensure practice is current and conforms to good practice standards. Have a good understanding of the importance of nutrition and infection control, ensuring the wellbeing of service users and staff. Undertake delegated health-related tasks e.g. dressings and medication administration. Developing person-centred care plans to ensure care is of a high standard focused on the person's needs and aspirations.

The Service: Foxburrow Grange is a 69 bed home with state-of-the-art facilities with an outstanding and friendly team of dedicated staff. The home has been delivering person-centred care for 30 years, is within easy reach of major transport links and close to Colchester town centre. The home comprises of four wings. On the ground floor are 32 bedrooms for residents with dementia, with a further 37 rooms on the first floor for people in need of nursing and/or dementia care.
