The department Fox Williams LLP has an established and ambitious employment practice with great opportunities for highly motivated team lawyers. The employment team work primarily in the financial services, partnership and technology sectors.
Team members are involved in:
- Assisting with day-to-day HR law advice to clients (predominantly in the financial services, professional services and tech/fintech sectors)
- Supporting clients to manage investigations involving business critical issues and working with partners in the capacity as investigator
- Advising predominantly employers but also senior executives and partners on dismissals, disciplinary processes, grievances and other tricky employee relations issues
- Working as part of a team on complex, high value tribunal and High Court litigation
- Drafting and advising on employee contracts, handbooks, consultancy agreements and other employee related documentation
- Developing an understanding of legal issues relating to employment, for example partnership, data protection and SMCR, SRA and BSB regulatory matters
- Advising on TUPE and other employee related matters associated with business restructures, sales and purchases
