We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Multi-Drop Drivers to join our new client based in Northampton.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised goods to commercial and retail customers across the region. This is a multi-drop position involving the safe operation of tail lifts and electric pump trucks to complete deliveries efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections safely and on time.
  • Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations.
  • Use tail lifts and electric pump trucks to load and unload palletised goods.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
  • Comply with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous multi-drop experience preferred
  • Experience using tail lifts and electric pump trucks
  • Good geographical knowledge and route planning skills
