We are currently looking for Production Operators to join a busy and successful packaging manufacturing operation in Desborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the corrugated and packaging industry, working as part of a friendly and hardworking production team.
The Role
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating production machinery and helping to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Your duties will include:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery.
- Setting and preparing machinery for production.
- Loading and handling raw materials.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
- Ensuring products meet customer and company specifications.
- Working to daily production targets.
- Identifying and reporting any machinery or production issues.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
Shift Pattern
You will work a rotating double-day shift: Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday.
