Our Client is looking for professional Class 2 drivers to join its established transport team. You will carry out store pallet work and multidrops, supported by a safety-focused and well-organised operation.
Located in Wyboston. Ongoing work | AM Monday to Friday shifts available. LTD Accepted.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Class 2 (Cat C) vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries and collections.
- Carry out vehicle checks (pre-use, post-use, defect reporting) in line with DVSA standards.
- Load and unload goods safely using tail lifts, pump trucks, or site equipment.
- Follow delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time performance.
- Complete paperwork such as delivery notes, PODs, and tachograph records accurately.
- Maintain compliance with UK Road Transport, Working Time Directive, and Drivers Hours rules.
- Communicate with transport teams, reporting delays, issues, or route changes.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points, representing the company professionally.
- Keep the cab and vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy at all times.
- Valid Category C (Class 2) licence.
- Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
- Good understanding of Drivers Hours, WTD, and road safety.
- Ability to handle manual tasks when loading/unloading.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Experience in multi-drop, palletised, or general haulage environments (preferred but not always essential).
