Production Operative

Production Operator Corrugated Packaging Location: Desborough Salary: £14.66 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shift Pattern: The role is primarily based on a night shift, 10:00pm6:00am . However, successful candidates will be required to complete training on a rotating double-day shift pattern until January: 6:00am2:00pm 2:00pm10:00pm Following the completion of training, the role will move to the permanent 10:00pm6:00am night shift . We are currently looking for Production Operators to join a busy and successful packaging manufacturing operation in Desborough . The Role As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating production machinery and helping to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Your duties will include: Operating and monitoring production machinery. Setting and preparing machinery for production. Loading and handling raw materials. Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process. Ensuring products meet customer and company specifications. Working to daily production targets. Identifying and reporting any machinery or production issues. Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment. Following all company health and safety procedures. Working effectively as part of a team. Shift Pattern You will work a rotating double-day shift: Week 1: 6:00am 2:00pm Week 2: 2:00pm 10:00pm Monday to Friday. Then Nights from January. About You We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who are keen to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operating, paper, printing or corrugated packaging would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right candidate. You should have: A good work ethic and reliable attendance. Good attention to detail. The ability to work as part of a team. A willingness to learn new skills.
