We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Multi-Drop Drivers to join our new client based in Northampton.
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised goods to commercial and retail customers across the region. This is a multi-drop position involving the safe operation of tail lifts and electric pump trucks to complete deliveries efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections safely and on time.
- Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations.
- Use tail lifts and electric pump trucks to load and unload palletised goods.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Comply with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop experience preferred
- Experience using tail lifts and electric pump trucks
- Good geographical knowledge and route planning skills
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
